Biologists or analysts with some basic knowledge of organic chemistry

Nanoparticular systems:
preparation and characterisation methods
Technicians, engineers, researchers in the pharmaceutic, cosmetic, environmental, chemical, agrifood industries
- Acquire the state-of-the-art in polymer and lipid nanoparticle preparation techniques by bottom-up and top-down techniques
- Be able to characterize nanoparticles in terms of size distribution (intensity, number and volume) and surface charge by DLS (dynamic light scattering) coupled with zetametry
- Know how to determine the concentration of nanoparticles by NTA (individual monitoring of nanoparticles)
- Highlight the complementarity between DLS and NTA on the characterization of synthetic or natural nanoparticles, both mono- or multi-dispersed
