Context
We are a research team in the Institut Charles Gerhardt of Montpellier, and we have developed a technique for thin film deposition of molecular coordination materials. The optical properties of this layer can be modified using an external stimulus. The aim of this project is to realize a sensor. For this, we need to optimize the growth process of the layer for several surfaces. Then a detection of the optical properties of the layer will be done during the application of the external stimulus.
Project
The technician should optimize the growth process of the thin layer on different types of surfaces. He (She) should characterize the thin film using different surface techniques such as IR spectroscopy, surface plasmons resonance (SPR), and atomic force microscope (AFM). Then, he (she) should participate in the sensor development.
The candidate
The candidate should have a technician level diploma in the field of chemistry or physical-chemistry.
Specific skills for the material chemistry, surface / interface chemistry and techniques for surface characterizations (IR, SPR, AFM) are expected.
A good knowledge of informatics tools and some programing skills would be appreciable.
